Federal Government Fumbles The Ball On Electronic Data Protection

The Federal Government's loss of electronic data stored on laptops, external hard drives, etc. is exposing tens of thousands of people to the risk of identity theft. Personal identification information such as names, addresses, social security numbers, dates of birth, etc. of former and current government employees as well as the information of citizens, generally, is being exposed in alarmingly high numbers.
