Ohio Man Gets Six Years In Mortgage Scam

Corey M. Hazel of Columbus, Ohio was sentenced on Thursday to six years in prison for a mortgage scam involving bogus appraisals, phantom home repair bills, and obtaining a home loan on an empty lot where he falsely claimed had a home on it, according to an article reported by The Columbus Dispatch, at Dispatch.com.
