Free Foreclosure Prevention Hotline For Long Island

On Long Island, Newsday reports that the Community Development Corporation of Long Island, along with NeighborWorks America and the Ad Council, is launching a public service advertising campaign on Monday to promote a free hotline to help struggling homeowners. Callers to the hotline, 888-995-HOPE, will receive round-the-clock counseling in English or Spanish and a plan to help them manage their finances.
