Legislation Pending To Require Loan Originator's Name On Mortgages

North Carolina lawmakers are considering N.C. House Bill 313, which would require carrying the name of the mortgage broker or loan originator on the actual mortgage or deed of trust that is recorded in the public records as a way to help the state regulate mortgage loan originators.
